You will have
reached this point if you did not install the driver package before
connecting the USB to Video adaptor to your PC
But before we get
going, this is an image of how your device manager should look
noting that you have SPCA5606A shown under Imaging devices and Intel
PC Camera Pro lower down the screen under Universal Serial Bus
Controllers.
Now, if your device
manager does looks like this then your drivers are installed
correctly. But because you are here you are probably seeing Intel PC
Camera Pro listed under Imaging Devices and NOT under Universal.....
as show below.

If you do not see
SPCA506A listed under Imaging devices then follow the steps below.
|
1.
Make sure you have loaded the
correct drivers from the CDROM
 |
You can follow this entire
procedure here |
2.
Open Device Manager

|
Right mouse click on My
Computer and select Properties |
|
2.
Click on Device Manager
 |
Click Device Manager |
|
3. Choose the correct drivers
|
Click on Intel PC Camera Pro which will be show on your system
in this position ie just under Imaging Devices.
Right mouse click and choose
update driver
|
|
4.
Choose Advanced
 |
Choose Install from a Specific location |
 |
Select 'Don't Search I will choose the driver to Install'. |
 |
Highlight SPCA5606A then click next. |
 |
Now
this happens. |
 |
Click finish to end. |
 |
Check your Device manager looks like this. If it does then you
have finished. If you
have SPCA5606A still listed under Universal Serial..... then
update this driver too as explained above choosing Intel PC
Camera Pro so as to look identicle to this image! |
